「かんかん照りで暑い」は英語で何と言う?

梅雨が明けて、朝から「かんかん照り」の天気ですが、これを英語で何と表現すればよいでしょう。「かんかん照り」の雰囲気が出る英語表現としては、私は以下の二つを良く使っています。

1) scorchingly hot (太陽光線で地面が焼き焦げるイメージ)

2) glaringly hot (砂漠の太陽がぎらぎらと輝くイメージ)

The rainy season has gone, and today it is already quite warm in the early morning. Now you may wonder how to say ‘KanKan-deri de atsui’ in English. I often use the following two expressions when it comes to describing the sunny summmer day in Japan.

1) scorchingly hot (Here, the expression gives the impression of the beam of the Sun burning the surface of the earth)

2) glaringly hot (Here, the expression gives the impression of the glaring Sun in a desert)
