Christopher Cross- Arthur’s Theme (1981)

Yesterday, we listned to this song, and practiced pronunciation of a particular line: ‘When you get caught between the moon and New York City’. Try to pronunce as if you were saying ‘Gekko’ for the phrase ‘get caught’! Also there is no time saying ‘When you’ properly: it sounds more like ‘Wenew’ in the song!!! Click here for listening.

This song is very nostalgic to me as the song reminded me of my third-year days in my high school. The song itself is used as a sound track in the film (or movie! if you speak American English) ‘Mr Arthur’ (1981). In Japanese, this song is often referred to as ‘New York City Serenade’. I hope you liked this piece of music.
